Olivier Rousteing, the previous two years at Balmain designer Christophe Decarnin-chief had learned, presented after his first resort collection in July 2011, now in his first season collection. The creations were indeed the classic Balmain signature as sharp shoulders, short blazers, slim pants and much more decorative, with loose blouses from lightweight denim and loose-fit shirt they seemed in some ways more modern than in the past few years.
